It was really weird but alsomt weirder was leaving Australia on a plane at 10:30am and arriving home that night on the same date just after 12 even though I had been in transit for 33 hours!

I have been going to Dr. Gross since 1996, thank goodness, since a surgeon in Montreal totally failed me and almost put me in a wheelchair. His bedside manner sometimes lacked a certain warmth, but he was always completely honest with me about my prognosis. His genuine interest in my health and at times in my life was, considering his own professional and personal life, astonishing. I returned to visit him (after putting off my 5-year checkup for 2 years) and received exactly what I deserved - the "what's with the weight" comment after putting on over 40lbs. I'll lose it since I know it's about MY health and nothing else. YAY, Dr. Gross and your honesty and skill.

Dr. Gross and his staff are exceptional and he is without a doubt a brilliant surgeon. I was diagnosed 5 years ago with osteo arthritis in both hips and I will be forever grateful that our paths cross last November at the orthopedic assessment clinic. During his examination he reviewed my medical history, the status of my hip degeneration and clearly identified my requirement to lose weight. He advised that over the next 5 months my single most important goal was to lose 30lbs. He advised me that the weight loss was REQUIRED to decrease my current pain and to assist my healing post surgery. I returned in April, 35 lbs lighter, and received my first hip replacement in July. Throughout the process of scheduling surgery his office staff was outstanding. I like his approach, he does not “sugar coat†anything and communicates exactly what you need to know to regain and maintain mobility. Dr Gross and his Staff are 10 out of 10!

I had a very agressive form of cancer at the age of 19 which required the removal of a fair amount of muscle tissue in my right hamstring. He did a great job. He was very knowledgable, informative and helpful. That was 19 years ago. I am married with two kids now and very greatful for having had him in my corner.

Staff not great on follow up. As for Dr. Gross he is excellent. Two knee surgeries and no complaints. He is direct and too the point. He knows what he is doing and cares about his patients.

I have been a patient of Dr. Gross for years. He has done a revision on one hip and a new hip on the other side for me. He is an excellent doctor who does excellent work. He takes the time to answer questions and has been understanding of any questions or concerns I have had and does all he can to ensure a good result which I have had in both cases. He can be straight forward in his demeanor,but based on my experience I found him to be approachable and caring as a doctor.
