Pros: Dr. Ghanem is thorough; knowledgable; doesn't rush you through the appointment; quick to look up information as needed; he is very pleasant man and has a quiet, competent manner. I am very pleased to have him as our family doctor. Cons: none

I have lived in a number of places across the country, and have been fortunate to have a number of excellent family doctors. I can honestly say that Dr. Ghanem is one of the absolute best.

Dr. Ghanem is my Dr. and I hope for a long time .He is extremely intelligent,empathetic,very prompt with regards to blood and other tests,validates my concerns,listens well, very personable and always asks" IS there anything else?"Tanya is also very professional and just as caring ."What a pair ---ONE IN A MILLION" Please stay ! Pictou should be so honored by your very presence .Thanks so much !!!

I was very thankful to be accepted as a patient by Dr. Ghanem when he came to Pictou County. Having moved from out West and leaving my family Doctor of 29 yrs, I was faced with having to build up a rapore and trust with a new Doctor. Due to Dr. Ghanems caring, gentle, and very empathetic manner, the transition has been great. I appreciate that he wants to get to the root cause of things and doesn't hesitate in giving a referral to another Doctor when it's needed. I really hope he decides to stay after his placement is up.

Dr Ghanem is very caring and knowledgable. I find him to be very thorough. I come from BC and find it refreshing to speak with a DR. who cares and not one that just wants your money.

I had the wonderful fortune of being referred to Dr. Ghanem when I moved to Pictou from Calgary. Dr. Ghanem is very knowledgeable - and, if he doesn't know the answer, he will refer me to someone who does.He's one of the most caring, helpful doctors I've ever had - and I 've had a lot! During my recent visit to the emergency clinic, Dr. Ghanem happened to be on the scene. He took the time to greet me personally and to inquire about my present health. His staff is friendly and helpful, as well - the young lady behind the desk always makes me feel welcome. I hope that Dr. Ghanem remains in Pictou for many years.
