Dr MacDonald saved my life. I had seen several other doctors in the ER (including another cardio)and none were able to correctly diagnose my problem. While always a professional, he held my hand and was so compassionate when he gave me upsetting news about my condition. I could tell even he was upset over the news I was getting. He is so knowledgable, so compassionate and so kind. He always takes his time during appointments and makes sure that I have all the information I need and that I asked all the questions I had. He even remembers personal things to talk to me about. Excellent bedside manor!!! Cape Breton needs more doctors like Paul MacDonald.
